Several Snapshots of the Work at 2424 Freemansburg Avenue

Although the doors upstairs were of solid wood and high quality, they had decades of wear and tear. Now they’ve been restored with new hardware, thus extending their life for decades more.

When the Land Trust first acquired this home the interior was rather dark because it was covered with paneling. That said, the open floor plan had some real potential. The paneling was removed and the exterior walls were insulated. I’ll be happy to post a picture once it’s renovated, but for now, here’s one in the midst of construction…

The backyard of this home was covered with a deck that was in a state of serious disrepair. The deck has been removed and a two-car parking pad has been added. Below is a picture of the backyard after the deck was removed and the step was rebuilt. Again, I’ll post a picture of the completed product when I get a chance!
